For as long as she can remember, Cate knew she would be involved in the performing arts. Her years of ballet, tap, jazz, concert choir, and show choir prepared her for a career on the stage.

At American University, Cate earned a BA in Musical Theater where she took a variety of courses to expand her skillset. She is experienced in physical theater, Shakespeare, object theater, and Linklater technique.

Now, Cate works across the DMV in a variety of performance styles. Her work in children's theater has taught her puppeteering, show development, and how to understudy. In her recent plays, she is known for her comedic timing and has enhanced her performance of heightened text. Cate's diverse theater experiences have made her proficient at capturing the hearts of audiences of all ages.
